Habitat: Throughout India up to 5500 feet. In the Himalayas and often cultivated in villages.

  • Virya (action): heating
  • Vipaka (post-digestive effect): pungent
  • Doshas (constitutions): Balancing for vata and kapha, may aggravate pitta in excess

General information

Centratherum Anthelminticum has antiviral properties. It is also beneficial in the treatment of Urinary tract disorders and gastrointestinal diseases.
