General information

In the ancient time, Sweet Flag has been traditionally used by the Indians Egyptians, Romans and the Arabs. Ayurveda mentions Sweet Flag as an Exodus, and the essential oil extracted from this herb has been used to prepare Ayurvedic medicines. It helps in the digestion of sugar and thus regulates blood glucose levels. It is highly rich in antioxidants. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is found beneficial in relieving the pain in joints. It also possesses anti-bacterial and antifungal properties, and helps in healing the wound faster.
